LubeCalc Pro is a professional engineering calculator for rotating equipment and fluid power engineers. It provides tools related to lube oil systems, hydraulics, seals, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, motors, piping, pneumatics, filtration, and related engineering domains.
2. License and restrictions
Subject to compliance with these terms, Spartan grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control for personal or professional use.
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code
- Use the app for an unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter proprietary notices or labels
3. Purchases and trial
The planned launch offer is a three-day free trial followed by a one-time $49.99 USD purchase. Final store availability, pricing presentation, payment, refunds, and purchase processing are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play policies. Spartan does not directly process app-store payments or refunds.
4. Professional-use disclaimer
LubeCalc Pro is an engineering reference and calculation tool. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. Results are informational and must be independently verified before use in any project, design, or safety-related decision. Users are responsible for applying the correct standards, project requirements, review processes, and professional oversight.
5. Intellectual property
The app's content, features, functionality, design, code, graphics, and documentation are owned by Spartan Lube Oil Systems LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Public engineering formulas and standards remain the property of their respective owners; Spartan's implementation and presentation are proprietary.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Spartan does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or suitability for a specific project.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spartan Lube Oil Systems LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, personal injury, property damage, engineering errors, design failures, or equipment damage arising from reliance on the app. Total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the app.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Spartan harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Spartan may terminate or suspend access for conduct that violates these terms or harms users, the app, or the business.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Third-party services
The app uses RevenueCat for purchase validation and relies on Apple App Store or Google Play for distribution and payment processing. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
12. General terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent required while the remaining provisions remain effective. These terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement concerning use of the app.
